Stone therapy massage is the perfect compliment to many manual therapies including Swedish, Californian, Shiatsu, Esalen and also enhances spa treatments like facials, manicures and pedicures.

The technique combines massage with the heated volcanic stones that effortlessly radiate heat and relaxation into the muscles, and the cooled sea stones that reduce pain swelling and inflammation. The semi-precious stones add a final balancing touch to this thermotherapeutic massage.

You will learn how to integrate the stones into a personalized ninety minute massage. You will also learn specific techniques that transform the various stones into tools to facilitate a deep, benefit rich effect with less effort: because the stones do the work for you!

With a little theory and lots of demonstration and hands on practice, you will learn the history, benefits, contraindications, client consultation and aftercare, proper hygiene and maintenance of your stones and equipment, and marketing of your new skill.

This 15 hours course for 160$ +tax will be offered on weekends from 9am to 5:30pm.

Estheticians are welcome to join the first 4 hours of the cours for the facial portion, for only 45$ +tax
