This 245-hour course including the photodepilation and rejuvenation course gives you all the professional competence required to join the workforce or to open your own business. This course also prepares you for accreditation by the Association des Électrolystes du Québec (AEQ).  The course, open to men and women, is given concurrently in French and in English.
Here is an overview of the subjects studied:

• Hygiene and security
• The pilosebaceous system
• The abnormalities of the skin
• The affections of the skin and the hair 
• The various currents: Thermolysis, Blend, Galvanic and Combined currents 
• The equipment and different types of filaments
• Techniques for different parts of the body and face
• Consultation and invoicing
• Professionnal ethics
• Information on the microtrolyse (free training given by the representative agent when purchasing a machine)  
• The theory and practice of Photodepilation and photorejuvenation (IPL laser) 
• The theory and practice of  hot and warm depilatory waxing
• The theory and practice of Thermocoagulation (treatment for blotchy skin)

The daytime diploma is given over a period of 11 weeks, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am to 5pm. 

The evening diploma is given over a period of 6 months.  The first week the course is given on Mondays and Wednesdays, the second week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6pm to 10pm., alternately.
