You can obtain your diploma in esthetics whether you study in the day or in the evening, full-time or part-time. It consists of theoretical studies and practical work in the following fields:

• Skin care, 250 hours, including:
  • Depilatory waxing, 30 hours
  • Cosmetology, 28 hours
• Make-up "Psychofigurism", 150 hours
• Manicure and Foot care, 60 hours.

Each course, given concurrently in French and in English, can be taken separately and leads to a certificate. Each one includes mandatory theoretical studies, written and practical mid-session and final exams. However, the emphasis is placed on intensive practical work at school under the supervision of qualified teachers, using all the necessary products and equipment.

• For the FULL-TIME DAY PROGRAMME, the practical session lasts 15 weeks, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  
• The PART-TIME DAY PROGRAMME lasts 30 weeks from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• The PART-TIME EVENING PROGRAMME lasts 50 weeks from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Many options are available for part-time students. Meet with the registrar to pick the programme that suits you best.

This 245-hour course including the photodepilation and rejuvenation course gives you all the professional competence required to join the workforce or to open your own business. This course also prepares you for accreditation by the Association des Électrolystes du Québec (AEQ).  The course, open to men and women, is given concurrently in French and in English.

The daytime diploma is given over a period of 11 weeks, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am to 5pm. 

The evening diploma is given over a period of 6 months.  The first week the course is given on Mondays and Wednesdays, the second week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6pm to 10pm., alternately.

 

This 32-hour course is given for those indivuduals who want to learn permanent make-up. The cryopigmentation is a science of electronic stabilized cold adapted for the art of permanent make-up. This make-up method, which is unique to our school, is taught over a period of 15 weeks during the day or 19 weeks at night. The course is given concurrently in French and in English.

The day programme is given over a period of 15 weeks, on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and also on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., only if the Tuesdays/Wednesdays class is full.

The pulsed light laser hair removal course is offered to electrologists AND estheticians. This 15-hour course, open to men and women, is given over 2 days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This theoretical and practical laser hair removal course is designed for anyone who would like to gain an understanding about the following subjects:

• The basic principles of the pulsed light laser hair removal: the absorption and reflection of light and the cauterisation of the papilla
• The laser parameters: wavelength, the laser vs flash lamp, the duration and the frequency of impulse and the cooling methods
• The laser consultation: general information, contraindications and side effects
• Pre- and post-treatment protocol: shaving, anaesthetic cream and the sun
• The application of pulsed light laser for photorejuvenation
• Practice on clients.

This 30-hour course is for any person who is interested in the theoretical and practical aspects of professional depilatory waxing with hot and warm wax. The course is given concurrently in French and in English.

Amongst other things, you will learn:

• The hair growth cycle
• The advantages and disadvantages of hot and warm wax
• The working methods for the different parts of the body
• The appropriate use of the material.

This course is included in the esthetics programme and is also offered separately as a group course during one weekend, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

NEW!: This course can be taken individually, in private, with an esthetician on a weekday from 9am to 5pm.

The introduction to Swedish massage workshop is given for men and women who want to learn the basics about Swedish massage. The course is given concurrently in French and in English.  If you want to learn about 15 techniques to enhance your esthetics practice or to give a general massage to members of your family, this is the course for you! This 15-hour course is open to all!  This workshop is also a prerequisite to the Massage therapist level #1 program.

Electronic lifting uses various currents to affect the epidermis, the dermis and the muscle. At first, the techniques stimulate the cells, the blood and lymph circulation. Followed by muscular tonification. The final phase has a regenerating effect on the collagen and elastin fibres. This treatment attenuates the ravages of time. This 8-hour course shows the whole series of techniques necessary to do a good treatment on the face and neck.  It is given seperately in French and in English, individually or by 2 students.
